Yes, and well... you will loose the "lightness" of the 4l60e. And I mean it will feel like your motor has to wind up more. BUT! I did my swap with the HD-2 shift kit AND a 3700 stall and removed all TQ management. It makes up for the lost power. If you don't do the stall and remove the TQ management, It will prolly feel like you lost 30tq.

I have Red eagle clutches and transgo shift kit and about the stall Im not going to get a Converter because I tow heavy load . thats why my 4l60E died on me.
So you recommend that I dont remove the whole TQ Managment If I dont have a Verter?
With the 4L60e I put 355wtq and 290 whp howmuch can I expect now?
Tommorrow they are going to close the transmission because I did the spline in CNC Couldnt find a ready 27 spline for the 80E. after that brakets fabrication and driveshaft work then installing the Standalone and tune it.
