i went with the firm settings and that is exactly what i would call the shifts, not nearly as hard as the flp tranny, just firm. cooler will go on when i get the heat exchanger for the turbo mounted.
so far this 4l80e swap is great and if stock it can hold the same hp as a fully built 4l60e then i can see this swap being very popular in the future. anyone want to guess on how far this tranny will take me in it's stock(other than shift kit) form? i am going to be optimistic and say 10.99's, 650+rwhp.

since you asked.
the tranny with the shift kit on firm had a great shift. it was fast and firm but not too harsh at part throttle. i think most people would like the way it shifted.
the flp built tranny shifts prety hard. i like it but some might find it too harsh.
