5.0L Chevy Engine w/Carburetor
I'm getting ready for boat season and i want to do a few "simple" mods to my marine engine. I'm definitley more "new school" than old, so i'm used to dealing with EFI than carburetors, but i'm sure the concepts are the same.
Any ideas or tips to get better peformance? it's a 5.0L (305 i think) GLI engine with a Holley 2 barrell carb. Completely Stock. Full maintenance done every year. Just looking to do a few simple mods as i'm saving up for a bigger boat down the road.

Look up anything for a small block chevy. There a thousands of parts aval. They respond the same as any engine, i.e. headers, small 4 barrel carb and intake, maybe a cam. The 305 suffers from a very small bore, I think a 283's is actually bigger.
