5.3 and 6.0 Rods???
I did some searching (Yes, I used the search tool) and found that the LQ4 and LQ9 have different rods, thickness wise. So does this mean that the LM7 share the same rods as the LQ4. And is a LQ9 rod into a LM7 possible?
If Parish is putting 750+ HP through the stock LQ4 rods, then what is the LQ9 rods able to go too.

The whole "differences between the LQ4 and LQ9" thing is still hotly debated around here.....I STILL don't think a .6 CR bump and *slightly* different tuning is good for 45hp (but that's just me)
As for the rods...the 4.8 is the oddball with both different rods (PN 12568736) and a different crankshaft (PN 12559356), the 5.3 and 6.0 share the rods (PN 12568734) but have different crankshafts (6.0 PN 12561302 - 5.3 PN 12569357)....nowhere is a different rod for the LQ9 listed....all the rods are of the cracked-cap powdered-metal design and are immensely strong compared to old-school designs, alot of racers are using the stock rods with ARP bolts and are having VERY good luck
