Question 5.3 to 6.0 swap, easy or not?

Thought I might drop in here to ask the simple questions:

is the swap from 5.3 to 6.0 easy?

does the 4L60E tranny bolt up to 6.0?

do ALL accessories bolt up ?

do LT headers from 5.3 work on 6.0?

got my eye on new LQ9 long block, so will the intake, rails, etc bolt up as well?

wil my stock 5.3 PCM work the 6.0 OK??

any other kinks in the road I may run into?

thanks

Yes to every question.
The stock PCM will run it but for optimum performance, swap it out with one from nelson performance.

yes again, bolts right in.

if you can swap a motor in anything you can swap this motor, it is about the easiest thing i have ever worked on.

Ok I have some questions.
Would a LS6 405 hp motor bolt up to a 4L60E? Would this fit in a 2001 silverado with stock PCM and everything ?

I found this online. http://www.gmpartsdepot.com/store/pr...&Category_ID=2

I was wondering if i could just take my manifold off and bolt it to the LS6 ?????
Would the shorty headers off of a 5.3 fit on a LS6 block ?
Would the stock intake (k&N intake) fit right to the corvette throttle body ?

I know so many questions but for 5400 dollars I could have a Ls6 and about 100 rwhp.

Thats if my 5.3 blows up.

any gen3 motor will swap right in. that is any ls1, ls6, lq4, lq9. you use all the acesories from the truck and the entire longblock from the ls6 or whatever.

you would use any kind of truck exhaust. long tubes of some kind would be the best though.

i would go with whatever is the cheapest. around here lq4's with a 3 month warrenty go for $1100. i have no proof but i think an lq4 would be slightly quicker than an ls1. 6.0's have prety good flowing heads.

and, if i had $5400 i would get that $1100. lq4 and put some $2000 AFR or Patriot heads on there and a nice cam. for ~$4000, you would kill an ls6.

i am kind of a cheap guy though so really a stock lq4 with a nx kit on it would rock for very little money.
