Default 5.3 Cam & Head Options

I have a 2001 GMC RCSB 2wd with a stock 5.3, longtubes w/hi-flow cats & cutout, 3.73s, and K&N Intake. I already have some 4.10s I'm planning on putting in the rear. I'm wondering what would be a nice cam and converter setup for a stock compression n heads 5.3. I'll be getting a tune from Wheatly or Nelson when I add the cam.

I plan on running a 2600-3200 stall. Something around that area. I will be driving this truck daily, so I'd like it to be really streetable.

I'd like to be in the low thirteens with my posi 4.10 rear, longtubes, cam, converter, and tune. Do you guys think that's possible?

mines streetable with a 3600 stall and a 219/230 117 lsa cam. if they are tuned right you wont have any problems as far as cranking and driving long distances.

I just swapped from 6.0, from 5.3. heads are 60cc aluminum from Patriot. I'm having one if the heads reworked. Reason being, my old block blew and snapped one of the valves. $hit happens when you have 169k mi block @ 9 yrs old. Head have gold dual spring, rockers, and 740 cr-moly push rods. Let me know if your interested.
