What are the bore limitations, I know many have gone up to ls bore sizes but is 4" doable?

No. It might be able to bore it there but it would live long at all. Ls1 bore is 3.89 i believe and my kachine shop says its a pita to do it that far.

3.905" is the MOST you can take the 4.8/5.3 block without having to worry about shi breaking. a ton of guys on here run that. its the LS1 5.7 bore. it's a PITA if your machine shop doesn't know a damn thing about machine work.

Also, make sure to have the bores sonic tested to ENSURE that the bores can be taken to a minimum of 3.898 (stock ls1 cylinder bore size) BEFORE you have them start to hog those bores out.

By the way, if you'd be so kind once you get your block, could you PM me the "leftovers" contact info? Thanks
