5.3 heads on a 6.0

5.3 heads on a 6.0
would there be any advantages to running those heads on a 6.0? I'm not looking to s/c the motor, but a little juice is in order. If its just a waste of time then they are for sale or trade.

i dont think ls1 heads would help either. less flow.
some ls6 heads would probably help but if your going to go thru the work of swaping heads might as well get some ported one's.

Yeah, you would gain a ton of compression only ( 72cc chambers vs 62cc ). If you were wet juicing you would see some benefits but off the button you are in premium plus gas and detonation.
You CAN install the LS1/LS6 intake valves ( exhaust are all the same ) for a little more flow. Check out the thread in the "Internal" section at the top. It has a ton of head info for all the LSx motors. Good stuff.
