How can you have such a difference in torque and hp? Isnt one the by product of the other?

Check for intake leaks, belt slippage, etc.

Any detonation? You change plugs? Fuel filter?

Mike (L28gofast) just tuned his and picked up .5 sec from a tune alone w/ the sidemount Mangacharger...so they aren't bad by any means.
