Question 5.3 miss and tick

hi guys my 2001 5.3 silverado has a miss at idle (feels like a miss) and today i noticed it has a slight tick to it and when i unplug a coil pack (any coil pack) it gets loud like a heavy ticking or small knock.
any idea what may be the cause of this?

Info:
2001 silverado ecsb 5.3, 210,xxx miles
built transmission
hp tuners tuned

can you do a scan and see what your misfire count is and more specifically what cylinder is missing?
I'd really have to hear that knocking / ticking to know. cause when you cause a miss (unplug stuff) it'll rattle, but if its knocking thats a whole different story
also, are you running the proper octane for how your tune is set up?
have you checked any of your plugs recently?

it has new plugs an wires and the plugs are gapped correctly
it isnt throwing any codes cylinder 6 misfire used to throw occasionally
the sound isnt really a tick sound its more like a "tock" it isnt like a dead rod knock but its not like lifter tick

so i had an issue after i changed my plugs. tuner i took the truck to recommended the wrong temp plug and the fact that the plugs he had me gap were not meant to be gapped. truck ran like ****. took the truck to a new tuner and he changed the plugs to a tr6 and left the gap at .035 and i had no more issues. not saying this is the problem but something to think about. what plugs and gap are you using?
