Very true, here in LA we are blessed with very fast times due to the low elevation. Today the weather was 45 degrees, not a cloud in the sky and 28% humidity, it dont get no better than that. A lot of people will dispute some of the times I have seen, but it is no doubt due to the combination of those two. Then again, maybe I have the strongest 5.3 ever!!!!!!!

"posi or the G80???" Maybe I am missing something here but G80 is "limited slip" which is the same as what people call posi. Or are there 2 posi's available for our trucks?? I figured it was open diff or G80....
Sounds like pretty respectable times to me for the mods. My Bravada only ran a 14.1 before it was tuned and it had a Typhoon drivetrain....

g80 is like posi but it turns into one-wheel-peel after 30mph. posi is only aftermarket, where both wheels spin forever
yeah that is why a lot of people even though they have the g80 have had to upgrade to the eaton or a couple of people use the auburn which is pretty much the same thing
