I like that..... I ought to call the dealer and ask them to check those!!!!

As of this afternoon, they say they have checked, fuel pump, fuel reg, coil packs, fuel filter.

They believe it to be an internal engine problem.

They are going into the value covers and looking there next.

Stay tuned. (Not sounding good.)

And this thing only has 40K on it

Never abused. Treated with kid glove.

I like your answer much better than the stealership. (Their theory didn't sound right to me either.)

I would hate to think I had an internal engine problem at only 40K.

Although, not an internal problem, I had a water pump go out at only 22K on my Formula

If it's anything remotely to do with the engine, it would probably be a CKS Sensor (crankshaft pos.sensor). Or could even be the Cam sensor...but I doubt it since you don't have an DTC set.

Now that you mention that one.... had I that exact problem on a Bonneville I use to own. It had very similar symptoms. It had about 90K on it though.

i agree fuel or spark after checking your fuel filter check fuel pressure i not sure how u might have a bad pump .... not sure tho... what air filter u got make sure its getting enough air clean it or something. you might have a few bad coils or spark plugs and or make sure your wires are on good enough on your spark system lots of thing just suggestions

I'm going to stay tuned to this one! Internal problem???

Is your truck still under some type of warranty?

I agree...if it's an engine problem, I'd think it would have to be an engine control problem, not an engine mechanical problem...

No

Bad news is... I was starting to consider trading for a new 07 Silverado just a couple of weeks ago.

Sorta wish I had went ahead and made the trade
