So are they making you shell out some serious dough for all this trouble shooting? You should have them look into the control problems these guys are talking about and leave the internals alone. Time is money with stealerships!

I've told them. They say they have checked. The only thing I haven't ask about is the crankshaft pos sensor.

As for $$$ they are charging... we will be in for a major debate if they are trying to charge me for themselves running their asses around in circles because they can't figure out what is wrong.

UPDATE:
Just got the phone with them. They found #5cyl has a broken value spring.

But say that cyl 7 & 8 are misfiring.

They are going to replace the value spring and hope that fixes the 7 & 8 misfire.

Stay Tuned!!!!

UPDATE:

The final verdict. You guys were right, so was the dealership. Turned out to be a little of each.

They replaced the broken value spring. That seems to be the only internal problem.

The other problem.... was fuel injectors were fouled up.

They also didn't charge me for a lot of the diagnostic work...

Total cost=$574.13 So, not too bad.

Yeah that's not bad at all. Glad to hear you got it all fixed up and back on the road.
