Looking at putting in a stage 2 cam kit. I was wondering if anyone knows if i will have to get the ecm or tcm reprogrammed?

Yes, you must have the computer tuned for it.

Should I also replace my cam bearings?

If you look at them, they will likely be bad. So I suggest that you ignore that and just stick the new camshaft in there and send it.

What axle gear (or gears - 2WD or 4WD) are you running?
Too many GMT800s with 3.23 3.42 or 3.73, get engine mods instead of upgrading to 4.10.
Too many GMT900s with 3.08 or 3.23, get engine mods instead of upgrading to 3.73.

Imo GMT800s don't need 4.10s. I've really liked my 3.73s...
GMT900s definitely need gear.
