A buddy offered to give me a Comp Cam he had laying around. I think it could be to much duration for my 5.3L but wanted to ask the professionals on here if they thought it could work. I also need to know what else I need to make the cam work if possible. Thanks for any help y'all could give me.

Out of a 212/218, 212/222, 216/224, 220/220 or an LS6 cam assembly which would be the best for a daily driver? Also, would it be a good idea to go with a LS2 timing chain as well?
