No wrist pin diameter but try this site http://www.smokemup.com/tech/ls1.php for some really cool stuff.
I seem to remember the wrist pin is 0.927" and the center to center length is 6.098". I have some time, I will check for more....

Thanks, this helps. The wrist pin diameter is .927-.928 from what I have managed to find on the net.

this sounds like fun! i might have to bust out solidworks and make a whole rotating assembly...

This is much closer to the LS1 H-Beam I've seen on line.

hey by the way... what kinda muffler you got on your truck? it looks nice and fat but i like it..

Make sure to fracture split the cap! Do that and you'll have one bad *** billet rod.

No muffler on my truck right now. If your refering to the one on my photobucket site that is the resonator I still haven't put on. I'm lazy and don't have a welder either!!

You talking about the zig-zag split sometimes done on rods and caps?
Or is this some type of advanced technique for high perf rods?

If this helps, SBC rods will work in the LS1. They are that close in construction.

Yes, the zig-zag. Using the fracture joint technique makes for a much stronger clamping structure. Just make sure you number the rod/cap assy as you cannot mix and match!
Final measurements reaserch says:

Big end = 2.10"
small end = 0.927"
End center to end center = 6.098"

Take some pics when done!
