how narrow would you like...? 552.39? I mean I dont know how much everything is. Im assuming a charger would put about 120. So 450 is as much as I know, the other stuff thats not nitrous im not sure how much it adds.

some e-fans, thermostat, ecu programming, headers, and possibly a cam change. So whatever that stuff can add I guess?

450 to 800 is a very large span. It's the difference between "pretty beefy" to "******* wild"

There's about a 2 second difference(or more) between those 2 numbers also. Blacksheep was only making 800's and he has the 99-07 record.

It's a big 2 seconds. It's like 12s to 10s, depending on truck and traction

I see. Well Im assuming my truck wont do 10's unless I get over 800 because its so big. It would be nice to keep up with or kill those pesky little mustangs and lightnings. I don't plan on taking my truck to a race track or anything like that, but I want to have the power at the end of my big toe.

So far, Im leaning toward a magnacharger system, headers, and meth injection. Maybe some e-fans, and thermostat. And along with this I'd need a beefier tranny.

Not sure if I want to get a cam yet or not.

to "build" a transmission do you buy a whole new one, do you send yours in somewhere and they do it, is there a kit you buy and install, or what???

And whichever one of these it is....who makes a good transmission, kit, or whatever?

For a built transmission contact FLT although they are quite back-up of late they make some of the strongest ones out there. Kinda like buy it and forget it mentality. There are upgrade kits you can but like corvett servo's and bigger coolers and shift kit's which you just add to your exsisting ones. If your mechanically inclined then you can do it yourself.

There's a few members from AZ that might be able to help you out.
Try PM'ing vanillagorilla or thunder550. Either one of those two can tell you who's good in the area for tuning and/or speed shops.
