I'm awaiting the arrival of the pistons back from HPC. Because I opted' for both the thermal piston top coating and the oiling coating for the skirts I will not see them till' mid Aug

So far things are going as planned. The 6.0L crank journals were reduced in size and offset ground to create some more stroke and some more displacement to buffer the big cam (230/235 .595/.595 114.) I have the 6.125" H beams with the bearing spacers the accomodate the new smaller journal size of the crank. I'm working on creating a screen style windage tray for the oil pan and should be done with the heliarc welding next week when the welder come back. The LS6 SII heads spec out awesome...decked 0.055" for 11.7:1-12.0:1 dependant which head gasket I go with, Ferera 2.08 / 1.60 valve combo, extensive bowl work and combustion chamber reshaping, welded and supported roof for 987 double springs and with the intake flowing 346 cfm @ .600" @ 28" it looks promising...we will see if the flow numbers really make more than a good spec show

The progressive controller wiring is finished and awaiting the installation of the center console where it and the new headunit will reside. I'm still not sure if I'm goin to run progressive out of the hole or two stage as I originally planned. I guess I'll have to compare some track numners when she comes together.
