Ended up with comp. cams 54-450-11 specs as follows
54-450-11 ''XFI'' 260 Hydraulic Roller Cams
GM C/K Trucks 99-06 4.8/5.3L
Lift: .513''/.520''
Duration @ .050'':206°/212°
RPM Range: 800-5800
Lobe Separation: 115°
with 1.8 cranes lift at valve is .564/.572 runs stromg as hell, no float, no bind,p/v clearance greater than 3/16". all is well in strokerland.
