Default 6.0 1/8 mile times.

Just got back from Kennedale and breaking in my new 6.0. It ran a best of 8.433@79.39 with a 1.827 60ft. Not to bad for just a cam, no juice on this motor yet. Of course, it was 40 deg. outside. I ran 8.4s four out of 6, the other two were 8.5 and 8.7.

Thats one way to break in a new motor.

Those are good times. Should be easy mid 13s on motor.

I need a new fuel pump first off. I don't want to have anymore problems 5.3 = . After the fuel pump is installed, maybe a 100 to 125 shot will get me 11.9s. Of course I will have to back the timing down. I advanced it 7 deg. yesterday.

Man that was a quick recovery and a nice improvement at the same time. I felt for ya a little when you injured the 5.3 but I don't no more. Where did you get the 6.0? Get any help from GM?

I have no idea what you are talking about. I had a brand new 6.0 in my garage. It was sitting behind the LS1 I have apart, I just didn't see it. Funny how things work out.
It was nice to have met you and everyone else last week. We need to do it at Kennedale sometime.

It just depends on what I feel like. Thursdays are fun because you get to laugh at the imports. Wednesdays are test and tune nights.
It doesn't look like I am going anytime soon with the weather like it is.
