Nice pics, you could always polish that oilpan if you have the time.

It would look nice, but you said you were painting it right.

I realized I'm missing the coolant crossover tube and hardware, as well as the retainers that fasten the injectors to the fuel rail. Let me know if you've got these for sale.

No, never intended to paint the pan. No way would I try to polish a pan with this much corrosion. That would be an exercise in frustration. I may well blast it though to clean it up.

I was lucky enough to get my AMW catch can before the price went through the roof...it was $90 at the time which is still expensive but more realistic than what they go for now

I managed to get a lot done this evening after work. I scraped the block and painted it, installed the balancer and tightened the front cover, installed the lifters and trays, and assembled the heads. They're just setting on the block for now. I'll bolt them down tomorrow.

Your engine looks sweet b! I'm thinking I may have to go the old school route whenever I get to building my LQ9
