The pushrods are ordered. Obviously, I'll have to remove the valve covers again to install them and the rockers. The trunion upgrade kit is already installed and ready to go. Still waiting on the coolant crossover lines and injector clips. It's almost time to move the engine over, and move the truck into the garage












What is the torque on this style of intake bolt? My book shows a different bolt and torque spec that mashes the rubber isolators out.

How was the trunion upgrade for the rockers? Someone suggested that for me since im using stock rockers but I never did it...

I also ahve rodered the Trunion for my 6.0L....very cheap upgrade, and as they say....when in rome

I looked up that torque spec it says Intake maniofld bolts in first sequence 44 inchlb, then on second pass 89 inchlb's

I subscribe to mithcell so if anyone needs some info just ask

That's what my book says too. But the bolts shown do not have these rubber isolators. They cannot take that kind of torque. They just mushroom out from under the bolt head.

It was a piece of cake with a $50 Harbor Freight arbor press.

I doubt he's using 44 ft/lbs then backing that up with 89 ft/lbs haha.

I don't have my book infront of me, but I know it's not much. I normally can do them by feel and visual. I'm sure it's a similiar torque as the valve covers. Those back oil pan bolts are sketchy too. They always feel like they are going to strip.
