The stock 5.3 cam is: 191/190 - .457/.466 - 114LSA

The stock 6.0 cam is: 196/207 - .467/.479 - 116LSA

There is that much of difference. What are trying to do, get more low-end, mid-range, or top-end? BigTex seems to be the cam expert talk to him for advice.

I've got the 208/216 Crane Cam with .530/.530 lift at 113 LSA and I love it. It helped out my whole rpm range. Just my .02

YOU'LL SEE MAYBE 5RWHP FROM IT. definatly NOT worth the work involved, but if you want to do it anyways i have 3 stock 6.0 cams you can buy 1 if you'd like. if you're gonna do a swap the minimun you should do is a stock z28/ss camshaft, but the 6.0 cam would be useless.

powerband is higher with LS1 cam, probably get 10-15 rwhp from it. the idle with any STOCK cam, is gonna be pretty much stock.

you wont lose any low end power....the cam is MINIMALLY different than the cam you currently have. it will just make a bit more power up top, and if you can tune your's it will extend your rpm
