I am considering the ssht but Ed says I need to check my clearances how am I going to know that without actually installing the can? East coast superchargers is doing the install I'm just providing the parts. How can I be sure about clearances?

They said they typically do 115+LSA on trucks since they usually do blowers. So they were no help. Ed Curtis said it should be fine but Idk how to be for sure. And is it worth losing money trying to sell my cam and buy that ssht.

I have no idea on ptv with your current cam. I'll be honest, lol. Talk it over with the shop, see what they recommend doing.
IMO no sell to go with th ssht. I would sell to get another grind. I'd keep the intake an duration in the low 230s. And I'd keep the lsa above 112. Torquer 2 sounded like a good suggestion. I'm no cam expert. Just telling you what I'd do, based on what I have. We want the same thing out of our trucks. I'm running a 230/236 .581/.581 on a 114. Just added a set of afr 225s. It just spins on the street, untuned, 3.73s, with a true trac and 10.5" wide tires. It just spun on the street with the same tires, stock 317s, and a peg leg 3.42 gear.
You going to just have to go with one. Hundred people are going to tell you a hundred different grinds.

Yeah. For the power I'll gain its worthless. Its all about gaining usable reliable daily drivable power. Honestly I prob won't even notice the difference between any of the cams mentioned. Instead of losing money I might just keep this cam. Decisions decisions. And the company doing the install is like 2 hours away so its not like I can just be like oh that cam won't work let me get you another Lol. The 228@110 sounds about as badass as u can get. But the ssht has some impressive numbers
