Not the biggest gains in the world, but good for freeing up a handful of ponies...not worth it to me personally, but if you've done every other mod possible and your looking for that last 5-10 hp they're good for that...

I had this same question before. Stick with the lq9 and 317 heads for more lowend torque. The L92 is for horsepower, Heavy trucks needs torque. I agree with the guy above, put a TVS 1900 or 2300 supercharger on it, for instant tq. Actually would be better than a turbo as well for torque output off idle.

I want gears, cam, and all that for my truck, when I add all the cost, stall etc... Its more than the TVS. Must get TVS to do all my needs in one package.

I didn't realize that, I was under the impression that the L92 made decent torque too...learn something new every day

Yea, I wanted to do L92 swap on my 6.0 as well. I will cam my VMAX with the 317s for more horses, and keep the tq down low in the rpm range. Its alot about velocity and the new heads are geared for more hp.

ok other than a charger what would create more torque with stock gm parts? heads from what? intake from what? i am not ready to sink thousands in a charger right now
