mind sharing how much you paid for it? I want to get a lq9 too and wondering what they go for.

Id like to build up one with 243 heads and 226 112 +2 cam. Awhile back I saw a ls2 gto dyno with that cam and it got 420rwp 415 torque

 

i got the motor for 250$, i didnt really know the condition of it, but it had been crated and indoors, it is an 05 out of an escalade and had ~70k on it, i thought it was a steal, but now that i am having to rebuild it its not the deal that it was, but at least i didn't pay 1500 for it only to find all this out.

anyway, does anyone know about what was asking earlier in post 10? what i would be looking at for compression ratio with the pistons i listed and whether it would be too much compression for pump gas? ive been playing with a bunch of online CR calculators and DCR calculators as well but get mixed results between them. someone please give me some insight!
