Cool 6.0 Question

hey guys ,not new to this site, always read it ,but never post anything. well here it goes
well i need to find out a couple of things, serious answers please . at work we have a fleet of 2005 chevy vans 3500 express models with the LQ4 6.0 engine . this past week one of my fellow co workers wrecked one from the rear pass side ,anyways the boss said it was consider a total loss, so i asked that stupid curious question what he was going to do with the van
you know why ???? well long story short he said go for it
well this particular motor only has 2873. miles on it . let me get to the ques // i have a 2004 silverado excab sb it has a 5.3 in it and with all the mods ive done its gone 14.5 @94 mph well how hard will this swap be ?
yes i'm mechanicly capable just curious what problems anyone has ran into doing this swap??
remember this is a 2005 6.0 sorry so long guys just excited!!!!!!!!!!

It should just bolt right in. You'll need a tune though.

Get a retune and go for it. A buddy of mine swapped a 4.8 for the LQ9 and went from 15.5 to 14.5 with the 4.8 tune and a peg leg peal. I want to see what he can do with traction.

The Only Thing You Will Need Off Of Your Motor Is The Flywheel.are If You Can Remove The Spacer Between The Flywheel And The Crank.other Than That Bolt Right In.and If You Do Not Have A 140amp Gen. Check The Gen On That Van I Think They All Come With 140amp Gen.
