If I am right, and someone correct me if I'm not .. but the Hummer's didn't come out til 02. In 92 GM decided they didn't need to put EGR's on the engines, and this engine has the EGR valve, so it's pre-02 going by this.

So what did kind of motor did you find? Going to mod it while its out or get it on the road and then upgrade?
but im gonna drop it in with just the kit at stock boost for now (Procharger) and some ASMs i dont really want to mess around with it right now cuz i havent had my truck for a long time it was down for a month before it was driven twice and then blown up...i just want my damn truck back!

hey blown chevy you and some other so cal guys (chingon, macadayear) should take a raodtrip to norcal sometime..we can go to sears point or something i dont know anyone up my way thats on the forum or anyone with LS1 trucks that mod the way we do...you guys can help me drop in my new motor hahah no but really you guys should come up here or hell i might go down there but it would be a boring drive by myself....

let me know any time man im down when ever the truck is still down (waiting on parts) but whenever you guys wanna come up here, im down...im in san jose not that far from infineon we could hit the that up.... you so cal guys would probably get some better times up here anyway

What does the LQ9 have that the LQ4 doesn't that gives it the extra 45HP of "umph"?
