Did you not read any of the 1000's of threads?

Find a 6.0, remove your 5.3 or 4.8, install the 6.0 and them have the PCM tune

Use the flexplate from your 5.3, on the 6.0

Any more questions?

yes i did read some of them and ill i get are bits a pieces of what actually needs to be done most of the comments are i think all you have to do is this or maybe its this. i want what actually needs to be done and what parts you need to do it. Yes i have more questions! so what your saying is all need is the a 6.0,pcm tune and a flexplate from a 4.8 or 5.3 and use it on the 6.0? all the wires hook right on up to the 6.0 ? dont need to steal some of the 6.0 wiring harness? what about fuel do i need new injectors? bigger fuel pump?

Search function

I've seen all of these questions answered in this section alone, and there are 6.0 swap threads and stickies all over this forum as well as ls1truck

its all plug and play. the sensors and locations, intake manifold, throttle body, harness, injectors, everything is the same. one thing to note is if you have an older LM7 (99-02) they have smaller 19lbs injectors than do the '04+ (24lbs) so you would want to upgrade there. after that get it tuned because it will run like hammered doodoo until you do. that is it, couldn't be easier.

Found my 6.0 pretty quick and cheap($200). Go to your local Barnes and noble and get a LS1 book, there's a couple of them, and they a section of swapping 4.8&5.3 for 6.0. Even has shortcuts. Let me know I bought I can look up something and pm the info.
@yodi good info I thought the (99-02) injectors would work, but I guess I'm going to have to get some other ones. I was planning on using my stock ones.
