ok, as long as i can get to it. I'm hoping i don't have to though. Had a suggestion of the flywheel or TC bolts possibly being loose, but i know they were tight.

I think I am having the same problem. I talked to Billy last night and he was thinking it could be the same thing you are having trouble with. I took it to our machinist today and he said it was my lifters losing their prime, and I need new lifters.

Did you soak the lifters in oil prior to installing them? Have you tried running the motor with the valve cover off to see if all the rockers are getting oil?

I bought the truck as is so in my case no, but I know my rockers are getting oil. The sound MY truck is making is coming from lower, towards the bottom of the valley.

^this

I just put brand new lifters in, and soaked them overnight before hand. The rockers are getting oil b/c they were wet the lastime i ran it and then pulled the cover. The next thing i'm gonna do is pull the front cover and check the timing chain. Its annoying that i can't find it. I wanna drive the damn thing already.
