Im in tuscaloosa.

I dont have alot of free time because of school, and dont have a "garage" or anything, so the swap would be interesting. I was thinking tvs first since I could use it on a 6.0 later, and meanwhile could build up a 6.0...

Can I use my rods and springs and cam from my 5.3 to a 6.0? I am pretty sure but thought I would ask anyway. Cam is a LPE gt2-3, ls6 springs, and comp 7.4" rods.

Just my opinion here, the TVS is the no brainer option. The only way I'd go with the 6.0 is if you like wrenching on your truck a lot. Looking back at the path I've taken and the money I've spent...to think I could have done 1 bolt on mod and had more power than I have now....but I don't think it would be as fun. Trever1t is proving what can be done on a supercharged 5.3....and it's more than what a na 6.0 is going to do.

Not nec a no brainer but the tvs will cost way more then what a 6.0 swap will. Then he can always add FI down the road. Also like said he can use all the stuff in his 6.0, that cam makes for a good FI cam... Like I said the 6.0 is what I would go for, but if your not a wrencher and you want to put out the extra money for a tvs it is overall a easier swap..

6.0 now FI later. why waste the opp to add extra cubes??? then the 6.0 with a tvs will be THAT much better than ur 5.3 ever could think of.
