Default 6.0 swap started

i just started doing my 6.0 swap in my 00 rcsb should be running today hopfully if not tomorrow morning i will post up some pics of the 5 speed swap bc i havent seen any on here with the different size crank flanges 6.0 is running a tsp 228r with 317s and headers hopfully im in the 400 hp range ive seen some dyno runs with just that cam in there in the 400s so it should be decent

That cam with some work done to the heads or some patriots, afrs, etc.... and I think 400 rwhp is a reasonable goal. Not with stock heads though.

i got a problem cant get tranny off those dowel pins any suggestions

i've seen a thread posted here a while back with a similar problem and a come along was used to pull the trans off, with everything supported and the hoist attached to the rear axle and the the back of the trans, a few clicks and it will come off.

it can be kinda tight i think i use a pry bar... but be careful and dont break the bell housing i think i pryed where the starter goes in.... it will come off just take your time and dont force it to hard.... put some straps or something under the trans so it doesnt hit the ground when it falls out... or leave a couple bolts in.. just leave them backed out that away it doesnt fall out...

tried the pry bar didnt work i double checked that all the bolts are out there all out idk what to do

You have to much binding on the dowel pins between trans and the motor. Are using a trans jack if so start adjust tilt vertical and horzona. When we did Devens motor swap on his truck it did the same thing. If you have a lot of stress on those pins it won't come apart.

yeah thats probably my problem im just going to take a break now pretty pissed that i cant get this apart
