Default 6.0 Turbo build pics! (56k nono)

Im going to be doing a 6.0 turbo swap into my car. I have a few pictures of the build so far and I hope to have it done in the next month or so if everything goes well. Any advice along the way always helps because I'm new to all this GM stuff ;-) I figured this would be a great place to get alot of good info and I thought you guys would appriciate the engine

It started out as this about 4 years ago

Then this is how I first "finished" it.

Here is my first power adder.. I didnt like the lazy centri blower so I took it off

So I woke up and did this..

I blew a ring land in the stock 5.0 and instead of putting another weak 5.0 back in the car.. you guessed it 6.0. Hopefully I dont run into to many purists Here are some pictures of the progress so far.

Found a 35k mile 2003 LQ4

Picks up a t56 out of a GTO

Here is a new pic from today.. I got the engine mounts/k member finished.

btw... " " means I'm subscribing to this thread. Your build looks pretty awesome and was interested in following along on your build.

Lol, nope! I'm excited to see how your build goes! Welcome to the site btw!
Don't worry about purists on this side of the site (LS1tech being the other side). We're all good natured and love anything power related. You probably wouldn't hear a peep from anyone on here if you were putting a 5.4L cobra engine in a camaro. Most of us would think it cool and unique!

You ever run your old set-up at the track? I love the flat black look of your car. Not sure if it's temporary but it's a look I admire.

Couple questions...
What size turbo?
Did you make those hot pipes or are they a kit?
Are you keeping the rotating assembly stock on the 6L?
How much boost you planning to run?
What are your power goals?
You might wanna get a bigger A/R housing...then again it depends on the previous question now doesn't it!

oh and welcome again to the site.
