You have to remember he doesn't have any of the smog crap either so that's helping him out quite a bit. I'm hoping for similar numbers when I do my swap.

WOW....

What programming are you running on the PCM? I've seen some data off of LS1's that's VERY different from what I see in my programming. (VE table and timing, being two of them)

How about those C5 manifolds - I've heard they're pretty good. What do they look like compared to standard 02+ manifolds?

(Note: My 04 has no EGR or AIR)

I have the "04 LQ9 2wd and had it dyno'd on a Dynojet by Ed Wright just added 2 flowmaster 40's and it dyno'd 287.8 RWHP and 327.3 RWTQ after the reprogram it dyno'd 307.4 RWHP and 352.1 RWTQ these are the SAE standard ratings. It had 900 miles on the truck when this was done and the temp was 84 degrees. Also it has 20" wheels.

Programming was all done on a wideband dyno. 21 pulls to be exact. Air temp was 92 degrees and it was about to rain outside lol. C5 manifolds are great for what they are, manifolds. They have pretty much the closest thing to equal length runners that you can get in a manifold for the LSX motor. Type in C5 manifold on ebay if you want to see what they look like.

Sounds good. For some reason I was under the impression you were running stock LS1 programming.

Those are very good numbers. Another member (stupidfast) dynoed a fresh 6L with a comp 212/218 a while back and made right at 350 rwhp through his 4L60E transmission. Your numbers would be close to his through an auto.

I bet that C10 feels great. Excellent project. I'd love to find a short bed 68-72 with a straight body to do a similar project.

BigTex, yeah the T56 puts every last bit to the ground and is why I wanted one. Plus it is fun to drive...

This thing is a crazy sleeper. The exhaust is so quite you wouldnt know if it is a 4, 6 or 8 cyclinder. I had the opportunity to run a auto C5 and a 6 speed SS on the highway the other night. I ran off on both of them! You should have seen their eyes! Classic...
