6.0l Burban vs. 8.1l Yukon
While I was shopping for a new 04 2500 Crew Cab. The dealer has 2 great deals on a 2003 6.0L 2500 Burban and a 2003 8.1l 2500 Yukon. Both are
similiarly equipped being both are LT. Which would u guys take the 6.0l or the 8.1l?

That I will have to look into. I was just concerned over the 8.1l using too much oil. I have a sidemount Magnacharger that I hope will fit on the 6.0l if I decide to go that way.

I went from a 2001 6.0 Suburban to a 2002 8.1 Suburban. I'm very happy with the choice!

6.0 - more mods out there for less $$, better gas mileage, and plenty of power stock. If you tow a bunch, and you want to leave it stock, then definately go for the 8.1. If you plan on modding at all though, then don't bother.
