Default 6.0l LTZ cam and exhaust help!

Hey guys I'm completely new to the performance side of vehicles but my 2006 suburban LTZ is going under tthe knife within a week to get bagged on full air ride and laying frame on 26" wheels and since we are re doing the exhaust iv been researching and watching a ton of video's on exhaust systems and now that iv decided on shorty headers and going to run either 2 corsa sport mufflers or 2 borla xr-1 mufflers and without cats true split duals
but my new decision is a cam the more I listen to the 6.0 with a cam I love it but here's the thing. Iv noticed that a lot of guys are running stalls with the big cams.. I'm wanting to keep mine streetable and don't know anything about stalls??
So my question is what's the best cam for my needs I'm mainly only wanting a cam for the sound ofcourse the power upgrade is a plus but I don't want to have to have some big stall and make it hard to drive daily, I'm ok with doing a tune afterwards if needed

Thanks for any and all input guys!
Blake

If its more of a show truck that you just want to sound really good, look at the smaller Thumpr cams from Comp. They will allow you to use the stock converter on the smallest one but will give you a badass chop from the exhaust.

My. 02= go with the long tube headers. They are so much better than the shorties

x2 with xdmikey about the long tubes, and I dont know about the thumper cam but check my vid out in post number 2 in the link below:https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...-clips-501919/

And the cam is the GMPP ASA cam specs: 226/236 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift 110 LSA. I have a Yank TT3000 and my truck is a daily driver. The only thing is I need to go down to 17's, 20's with 3.73's, or stay with my 22's and get the 4.10's thats my delimma as of now.

The Thumpr is I think 219/233 @ .050 on a 109. About the same size as the one you used. The cam I used in my 5.3 is 218/224 @ .050 on a 110 and it's pretty choppy, but a 6.0 would tone it down some. Here's the thread with a clip of mine.

It tones it down some but not a night and day difference. Which ever you choose will be a great choice for what your goals are.
