Default 6.0L swap in my RST?

I am considering doing a 6.0L swap into my Sierra RST. Can I get away with just a 6.0L long block and use everything else from my 4.8L. My JBA headers wont work on the 6.0L correct. My plans are just mild cam, some porting and a tune. If not what else would I need to do the swap.

Headerr will work from the 4.8 to the 6.0, you will want bigger heads for the 6.0

Ya I was planning on getting a longblock. 4.8L heads wont work at all on a 6.0L right.

they will work but will have the compression ratio pretty high, like flow like **** compared to the 6.0 heads and might have some problems from the 4.8 to 6.0 bore

Ya, I was thinking more the bore increase would be the problem. I will be running 6.0L heads anyway. They wont cost to much extra and with a little porting they will flow great.

So all I need get is a long block and I can swap everything else over. If so that is great it will be fairly cheap and I will be able to do it soon hopefully.
