Is there a 6 in this truck, if so, which 6 is it? If it's an lq4, there's a lot of spark left in it which will make a big difference.

Talking

are you using edit?? hptuners? either way there is a lot to change and gain performance with. i would begin by adding some timing to the upper rpm's on the table. man i can go on and on. and if you are planning on buying a tune there are sponsers that do kick *** tunes.

im using ls1 edit its a lq4 out of a 2004 4x4 2500hd truck i used the tables out of a stock 2003 ss truck that i downloaded from ls1edit.com when i took it out on the highway the truck pulled hard i had the spedo pegged out and the tach was at about 5000rpm (some where around 130) i let out cause the truck started to float but the motor was pulling hard still

From what little I've seen of trucks, there is a lot of spark
left out, the PE is applied late and slow, burst knock is so
sensitive that it gets applied during normal acceleration.
I don't know if Edit can read "straight" binaries like the
HPTuners .bin (which is unencrypted like honest software
should be). But if so you might want to take a look at all
the .bins on Horist's repository site (see sticky). If this
doesn't work for you, I'd look to the late F-body tunes.
If you post "gimme tables" requests in the PCM section I'm
sure you could get plain-text examples of other platforms'
key tuning tables.
