Default 6.2l Lq9

I remember someone posting up about swapping their engine to the new 6.2L LQ9 and tranny. If anyone knows about this swap please chime in b/c i was wondering how different it would be than the 6.0L swap. i looked at my moms escalde and it seems very easy to take out. I was just wondering if the tranny for the 6.2 and the engine itself would fit into an 03 truck. and i know i would have to get a new pcm and **** for the engine. i might have an oportunity to swap over late summer. just wanted to get some info first

i am going to do that swap in my 07 .....an 03 needs the whole system from an 07 to make that engine work ...for the 07's its just the same as swapping in a 6.0 into an 03

first off not a LQ9 its a L92. second the motors are physically the same as for mounting and size and etc. it would be direct drop in as for mounting and etc. now the wiring and etc is different. now you could buy the adapter harness to get it to work with your setup. or just put the heads/intake on your 6.0 now
