As I said in the FI thread, congrats man! Awesome numbers!

 

the missfire apears to be lead fouling of the plugs. if i put in a new set it is fine for awhile. i have leaned it out a little at cruze and idle so maybe it wont happen so fast this time. i got several sets of plugs and keep them in the truck so if i have something big going and i notice the miss i can swap them out.

check this out , i did a few pulls and noticed i could use a little more fuel so i did a reflash adding some fuel. when i did that i pushed the big fan blowing on the intercooler out of the way. i forgot to put it back. the last 3 runs had no extra air on the intercooler and were only about 5minutes between runs. i noticed the IAT's went up from about 80 to about 90 then about 95 where they were holding steady at 80(start of each run) before. probably a few extra hp there.

then when i went to leave the dyno i forgot to turn it down. on the dyno jet to get the boost i wanted i had to crank up the controler more than the street. the first time i hit the gas the truck got all twisted and out of shaped and pulled like it never has before. saw over 18psi and then it poped apart the intake ducting and died on me the guys behind me told me the truck was all twisted and crazy

i had a fun weekend. looks like we are going to someplace in texas next month. far south i was told. i need to get more info on that.

The only car that I have driven that could spin the tires on the highway was my bro's 87 mustang lx. It used to spin them at 60mph like it was nothing. But to do it in a truck, that is plain out sick!!!! Keep up the good work and lets see some new videos of the truck.

 

sounds like a blast. wouldn't it be easier since you don't drive it as often to just run 100 octane unleaded straight?

 

100octane is way more expensive, around here they get something like $4.50 for 100 and my 105mix is about $3/gallon.
