Default 6L help

I have a couple questions about my 6.0 swap

1. Did the Denalli come with the LQ9 or LQ4
2. Will my single in/out 3" exhaust be sufficent, or should I go with dual exhaust? How bout a si/do Magnaflow backwards so its di/so? Thanks

1. Not sure now. I'm thinking LQ4. Maybe the newer ones had an LQ9.
2. Yes, si/so is sufficient. Going to duals is simply a personal preference. I don't think there are any real gains over a comparable flowing si/so setup.

Single exhaust gave me 350hp 360tq and true duals with magnaflows and x pipe gave me 360hp and 350tq. I guess its a trade off.

1. i am thinking only 05 and newer
2. the 3" will work fine. not worth the money to change to duals unless you wanted it.

not calling you a liar but a friend of mine has 02 denali and it has the lq9.

the research me and a few friends did when i worked @ a dealship was that most if not all denali's,esclade's,ss truck, the hd trucks is the only ones that came with the lq4.i could be wrong but that is what we came up with.and the way we came up with it is with the vin numbers with a few different trucks.looked up replacement motors for the vin we had.

Sierra Denali was an LQ4 tuned to make 325rw. Yukon XL was the same way.
