For what you're wanting, a 10:1 370ci with some sort of PD blower will have you set. Not to mention reliable as factory and a direct 1 for 1 swap minus whatever mods you want for the blower.

In something like this, I'd recommend a blower over the turbo setup.

It will act like a big block with small block fuel mileage. Hard to beat for a daily, its a install and forget setup.

Everyone hit the nail on the head here... boost takes a well mannered daily driver friendly motor and turns it into something literally almost twice its size under full throttle. I don't think there is any other way to do it in a heavy vehicle... take it from someone who started down that path and changed directions.

Also I'm not totally familiar with the turbo set ups... but the blowers seem to be more catered to slapping them on and driving. Turbo's seem to require more tinkering, but they definitely have more power potential.
