8.1 HP3 Heads Part Number and WTB ASAP!
Does anyone have a part number for these, where to order them and any idea how big the flow difference is? Are they even a different head or do they just have better valve springs.

bizzump... surprised no one's discussing these on here lately. Anyone know the exact differences woul be great too.. if I'm on a wild goose chase for a pair of heads that just come with beefier valve springs oEM then obviously forget about it. 'ine the contrary, if ithey do have better flow/etc like claimed I will still continue my desperate search; just don't even know where to start first with Marine parts. Who even makes the "marine stuff{, is it Mercruiser?
The sad part is doing a search I see threads from a while back here where 8.1 dudes talk about ebay sources that existed for the 8100 HP3 heads. :crying:
thanks in advance to anyone with help!

I have a set that I got on Ebay. They are CNC ported and the chambers are CNCed. The rocker stud bores are standard instead of metric. I believe the springs are stiffer but I haven't taken them off to check yet.
I think GM or Mercruiser has discontinued them. The guy on Ebay has tried to sell another set a few times that I know of. He's TopGearOK or similar. You have to search in the boat engine sections to find them.

Also I've thought of have them mapped on a CNC mill to repoduce them but haven't seen the market to justify the costs. I'll be installing them this spring so if interested speak up.
