8100 Hammer:
If you really want a Dodge Hemi or RT10 viper killer, contact us on our toll free number at 866 496-8181 and we will build and ship you a 550HP- 600ft/lb torque monster 8.1 that idles like a stocker and will run on your factory truck computer with our LS1 edit update and still run on 89 octane. We've got the parts and the engine dyno sheets to prove it. The bullshit will stop when the green light drops!
Thanks,
Raylar

Just throw some boost at them and they really wake up...biggest problem is the Allison...not so much its hp holding power, but its 36% loss is a killer when trying to make power....with my 35's I rolled a 360rwhp/452rwtq ..do the math and that some BIG numbers at the crank...so they will hold together quite well.

The Vortec 8.1 Litre engine is 494.3CI, not 496. Stuff like that is just a Pet Peeve with me. Not trying to be rude.

How do you gt 494.3? Bore is 4.25, stroke is 4.37

so the math is (4.25/2)^2*pie*4.37*8=495.95

Your Math is right on. I was going by litres- 1 litre= 61.025CI. 8.1X61.025=494.3.
I've never really thought of using bore and stroke CI formula. Yeah, every engine is a couple cubes off of what the litre amount is. My fault.
My formula I use is Pie/4X(bore 2nd)XstrokeX number of cylinders= total cubes, divide my 61.025= 8.119 litres. I feel stupid now

that's why i never liked the "new" way of labeling engines with liters. Using the old cubes is much more accurate.

Reelcrazy: I bet you could build that 8.1. but at what price??? Judgeing by what raylar offers.pricey. A few rich folk maybe buying $3000 heads, but not your aver. shadetree truck lover. beside I spend the money, why stop a 496 ci, how about a sonny lenarod 762(1200hp n/a) complete crate for 55,000.00> And destory ALL

ok stretch a bit on the 762.
