i had the same problem with the same converter. i hoged out the holes. i used a die grinder with about a 1/4" carbide tip and just sloted the holes out a little till it fit.

i called my tranny guy and PI and they both told me to hog out the holes. i think 99% of the load is on the hub section. PI told me i could order the 99 and older flex plate or something like that, i guess they were duel drilled for a couple of years.

use the adapter to center the flex plat on the converter as you hog out the holes. that will help you check your progress.

wow thanks very much, my hat is off to hemitman and buddy. (forgot his name) they both hooked me up with the flywheel. we got her drilled and fixed up some spacers. she will be going in saturday. for good this time. then when my yoke gets here next week i can get the driveshaft taken care of and i will be back on the road. thanks again hemitman.

sounds real good lance. Do you think there will be a big diff with the new stall from the old stall? Wasn't a 2500?

oh yay. i believe that a multi disc vigilante verter will always out do a stocker made to a stall.
