Default 86 c/k1500 350 motor

Hey guys,
I just thought more easier for me to comment this thread. I been trying to struggles to get things correct path to rebuilt for my cousin senior year for his 1986 c/k1500 4x4 truck. It has 350 on it, It was knock. Anyhow to see from what I want to know all list and cheap price to built up... Let see we plan to bore .030 and get all brand new factory piston, rods, all bearing, main bearings, do I need to rebalance on stock crankshaft or not need it? We want to reuse those... I wonder to see if we could get good cam for drive daily, good torque, good pull power. We want run cam Hydraulic flat tappet. To see if it willbe ok to run regular 87 ontace for that? Just want his engine able good health and run strongly. I wonder what kind should we buy a 4 barrel Edelbrock Carburetor or Holly. 600 or 650 cfm? WHat kind should we get intake mainfold single plate Super Victor Intake Manifolds or dual plate? Also we run factory iron heads. Do we need to replace valvespring to allow space to pressure with aftermarket cam, I need to know what size of cam, pushrod, valvespring please? We just try to spend cheap and able to play. Let me know thanks.
