Default 862 replacing 706's ? ARP or Factory Style Bolts?

I have read the forums and I hear that the casting method is the big difference. Will I lose anything with 862's since I have read they are a little poorer flowing due to a rougher casting.

I have some Castech 706's that are experiencing the porosity problems and really need to get them replaced and have a line on a set of 862's, I am trying to find out if they are Castech or not.

I just want to know if I am going to really lose anything in a stock 2004 5.3 with the 862 instead of trying for 706's.

Any other parts I should replace while down the head replacement, preventative etc, other than the gaskets and head bolts?

Shoud I look at the ARP head bolts or factory style (GM or FelPro) head bolts when I do the replacement?

Thank you for any information you can share?

862s are exactly the same are 706s.

No need to go with ARP bolts, stockers will be fine.
