Default 87 Octane, and no KR... still O.K. to run??

Well, after almost three years of having the same setup I have only run 91 octane in it..untill last week. I accidentally put some 87 in the tank, and to my surprise I felt no difference, no knock, and no reduction in timing. All via Auto-Tap. If these conditions are being met (no knock, no KR, and 02's look good) does that mean its o.k. to run this kind of gas? Notice my setup in the sig and let me know what you guys think. My compression is too low in my opinion, at just under 10:1. Cranking compression runs right a 195 psi per cylinder. I do know that LT1 cars run this cam with over 11:1 compression and no problems, so in that respect I dont think there should be any issues. Stat is at 160*.

Thanks!
