I'm new to this forum and I just got my first truck. It's in great condition and even came with a Plow and a Tool chest, but it's got a wimpy 4.3 which was also used in the caprice and it's got 244,000 on it so I was thinking about swaping in a ls1 so I've got a couple of questions;

Will it bolt up to the 4.3 mounts and the automatic trans?
If not what mounts should I use?

Should I Upgrade the feul pump?

What needs to be done to the ECU and Wiring?

Would it be a better option to swap in an lt1?
