I bought my complete 6.0l for the Bu-hog turbo project T-72 for $1050, plus a core fee of $150, so $1200 all together.
If you're replacing the heads, intake, crank, rods and pistons I would just buy an LS2 bare block from Scoggin-Dickey. If you're trying to do a budget turbo motor, stick with the 6.0l ...it should hold together to upwards of 700hp at the crank.
